Open Reality & Ekahau Launch Global State of Wi-Fi Survey

State Of WiFi ThumbOpen Reality and Ekahau are excited to announce the launch of the first ever State of Wi-Fi Survey. The survey is designed to examine the current challenges in running a Wi-Fi network and the trends and technologies that will shape wireless network management moving forwards.

In recent years the demands on Wi-Fi networks have increased exponentially as Wi-Fi becomes the de-facto carrier for Cloud, IoT, video, and cellular data offloading. But are wireless networks coping with these increasing pressures, and how do organisations go about wireless design, troubleshooting and optimisation? Open Reality and Ekahau are hoping to find out by asking wireless professionals around the world to provide their feedback.

The survey is open for responses from today until 23:59 PST on Sunday 29th April 2018. All respondents will receive a free copy of the findings and be entered into a prize draw for a £100 Amazon gift card.

Duncan Little, Managing Director for Open Reality, commented, “The State of Wi-Fi Survey should provide some intriguing insights into the realities of running a wireless network in the modern world. We are excited to the see if the results match our expectations.”

“We are very interested in hearing from our mutual customers about where they think Wi-Fi is now and where it will be going. The results from this survey will help us plan for the future,” explained Jonathan Eisner, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Ekahau.
