HiveRadar have made some improvements to their highly successful Wireless Site Survey Kit (WSSK). We think customers will especially like the increased mounting height and stability to allow more flexibility when surveying. There’s also an improved mounting bracket plus a customisable pluck foam insert and upgraded locks. Here’s the full list of changes between version 2 and 3:
Improved Universal AP Mounting Bracket
The Universal AP Mounting Bracket is now sturdier. The bracket swivels with a stiffer rigidity for heavier access points allowing for both ceiling & wall deployment scenarios. The Quick Lock negates the need to overtighten the bracket to the pole. Simply line up the bracket to the front of the kit & lock in place.
New Mini Ball Mount
A Mini Ball Mount on top of the Universal AP Mounting Bracket allows you to attach cameras (GoPro/360cam) to snap photos of importance & engage with customers by showcasing your work. You could even record a time-lapse of your wireless survey from ceiling height if you wanted!
Increased Mounting Height
The standard maximum mounting height has been increased from 9 feet (2.74 metres) to 12 feet (3.65 metres).
New Kit Stabilizer
Because the standard maximum mounting height has been increased so has the stability. The four rubberized feet also provide better grip.
Laser etched connection indicators.
Machined knurled quick locks for better grip and a tool free experience.
Improved Power Pack Chassis
There’s a new and improved chassis design for holding the battery and PoE injector, both of which are integral to kit stability.
Battery Quick Locks
The battery is held in place with a spring loaded lock allowing you to swap batteries in a snap!
Quick visual indicator to ensure your PoE injector has power.
Pluck Foam Insert
HiveRadar have listened to customer feedback and replaced the old custom foam layout with pluck foam so you can now personalise your kit to fit your own survey gear and tools.
The HiveRadar WSSK v3 is now in stock and ready for immediate shipping.
