This 4-day course consists of lectures and hands-on labs taught by Wi-Fi experts. Dive deep into advanced Wi-Fi design, surveying, and troubleshooting techniques using Ekahau tools to model and analyse complex network environments.
Dive into all aspects of advanced Wi-Fi design, surveying, and troubleshooting, including:
- Advanced Wi-Fi Design: Learn how to design for complex scenarios like warehouses, hospitals, universities, and large public venues
- Floor Plan Manipulation: Conquer the manipulation of floor plans, including working with PDF, CAD, and large building files
- Advanced Surveying Techniques: Understand and apply advanced surveying techniques, including compensating for walls, wall calibration, and using Ekahau Sidekick 2 for measurements
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Perform in-depth analysis using packet and spectrum analysis, identify the root cause of issues, and troubleshoot across 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands
- Ekahau AI Pro Online: Gain hands-on experience with Ekahau AI Pro Online to model complex environments, including multi-level structures, auditoriums, and arenas
- Reporting: Learn to create and use report templates to communicate your findings effectively

Prerequisites
- Understanding basic functionality of Ekahau tools and software is required
- ECSE Design certification is required
Technical Requirements
During the course, students receive a temporary Ekahau Connect license to run Ekahau AI Pro Online and Desktop on their computer and Ekahau Survey and Analyzer on their mobile device. All students will also receive free access to video-on-demand training for the fundamentals of using Ekahau AI Pro Desktop / Classic reporting. Students will need:
- Admin rights on their local machine to install AI Pro
- A fast and stable internet connection and a computer with video and audio capability
- A physical mouse rather than a trackpad for designing
