During the course, students receive a temporary Ekahau Connect license to run Ekahau AI Pro on their computer and Ekahau Survey and Analyzer on their mobile device. Students will need:
- Admin rights on their local machine to install AI Pro
- A strong internet connection and a computer with video and audio capability
- A physical mouse rather than a trackpad for designing

Ferney grew up in Colombia and moved to the USA in March 1999. Ferney has been working with technology for 27 years, 17 of them in networking and 10 years dealing with wireless networks. Ferney is currently employed by Canyons School District and Wireless LAN Professionals, and uses Ekahau to design, troubleshoot and maintain 1,450 Ruckus Wireless network at the school district.
Eddie is Founder and CEO of CommunicaONE Inc., and specializes in wireless survey, analysis and design, and implements WLANs throughout the U.S. Eddie brings practical knowledge and experience to help better understand how to apply the skills learned in the ECSE course. He is also the author of the popular blog, BadFi.com.
François is a passionate Wi-Fi Network Engineer and the owner of SemFio Networks. He dedicates all his time to designing, deploying, troubleshooting and teaching Wi-Fi. As an instructor, his goal is to engage, inspire and motivate students to learn about Wi-Fi and learn how to be efficient using the Ekahau tools. François is also co-host of the Clear To Send podcast.
Peter Mackenzie is an internationally recognized expert in Wi-Fi and co-author of the CWAP study guide published by Wiley. Peter is currently the Head of Technical Operations for UK company MarQuest, where he is the principle instructor for CWNP, Savvius, Ekahau, Extreme Networks, Ruckus. Peter has taught courses in various countries around the globe. When not instructing courses, Peter provides consultancy services specializing in wireless networking and network analysis, to many industries including local government, education, and retail. Peter also heads up the wireless installation team at MarQuest working with many different wireless vendors and holding many of their certifications, along with the vendor natural CWNE and CWNT certifications.
Raymond (friends call him McGyver for his solution-oriented skills) built over 15 years of experience operating nationally as well as internationally, delivering complex wireless projects. He regularly travels the world to build temporary wireless networks at large events like the Shell Eco Marathons. This wireless passion started in his early years during his career at the Ministry of Defense in the Netherlands where he specialized in Electronic Warfare. He lives with his family in Merselo, the Netherlands. Raymond CWNE #274 is co-founder and owner at WiFi Wise, the vendor neutral go to company for all wireless solutions. The mission is to rid the world of bad Wi-Fi by supporting organizations with design, setup and improvement of their wireless networks. As an instructor he strives to spread decent Wi-Fi knowledge. Raymond teaches ECSE classes in Dutch and English, mainly in Europe.
Mac is superbly passionate about wireless. He has completed 130+ wireless projects within the last 4 years and created wireless practice at Natilik. Co-founder of WiFi Ninjas, where he channels his Wi-Fi love into creating techie wireless Podcasts & Blogs. He holds numerous qualifications including CWNE, CWNT, ECSE-Desgin, ECSE-Advanced, Wireless Adjuster, CCNP Wireless, CCNP R&S, CMNA, CCNA Security, CCNA DC, CCNA Collab.
