The Blue Coat ProxySG 810 Series of rack-mountable proxy appliances provides enterprises and large branch offices with the power to protect and accelerate web communications and business applications.

Located at the Internet gateway, the ProxySG 810 platform provides effective control of the enterprise’s Internet traffic, including protection from spyware, malicious mobile code, inappropriate web usage, and potential legal liability – while actually improving web performance.

Located at the edge of an organization’s application delivery infrastructure, the ProxySG 810 also provides controlled acceleration of business applications across the globally-distributed enterprise. Leveraging Blue Coat’s MACH5 technology, the ProxySG 810 provides users at large branch offices with the same LAN-like performance and experience as those located at headquarters or the data center.

Centralized policy administration (for multi-appliance deployments) is provided by Blue Coat Director, while Blue Coat Reporter provides log aggregation from appliances for concise reports and analysis of web communications and policy enforcement.
